I've been suffering from baseball withdrawal for quite sometime now, actually when they decided to postpone the season.
Reports came out yesterday from a lot of the baseball insiders that MLB and the MLB Players’ Association are in process of formulating a plan to play all games in Arizona, according to Insider. Games would be played without fans in stadiums. Basically, the proposed timeline would bring all 30 MLB teams to the Phoenix area, and all 30 teams would play at the Diamondbacks' Chase Field or surrounding spring training facilities with no fans in attendance. The proposal would also force players to live in isolation from their families for an extended period as the season played out. I wouldn't think that the players would agree to the proposal with them being kept away from their families for an extended period time, but they did.
I guess we will have to just wait and see what happens in the coming days or weeks to follow. I do know one thing though, we NEED baseball back. No matter what's happening in the world, baseball is ALWAYS there to pick us back up! It reminds us of all that once was good, and it could be again.
