With basketball, hockey, and baseball all postponed there's only one sport that we need to start on time and that's the NFL! Well from a report it's looking like the NFL season may not start on time, but they do have a plan!
Yesterday an article came out from the Sports Business Journal, which states, the NFL is making preparations for delaying the season until mid October, according to Bring Me The News. The report says the NFL is going to release a normal schedule like they would every year and it will have some precautions with it.
One of the precautions is that it could take the first two weeks of the season and put them at the back of the schedule.
If for some reason the NFL needs to delay past the two weeks it will feature teams playing against each other with the same bye week. If the delay goes past week 3 those with teams with an originally scheduled bye week won't have one!
The final scenario is if extreme measures need to take place and that's eliminating the Pro Bowl, and push the Super Bowl from the first Sunday in February to February 21, 2021.
