I could go for a live concert right about now and I know I'm not alone! Yeah, watching your favorite artist on their live stream from your couch was cool. You poured yourself a drink, had some snacks and best of all no line for the bathroom. Well, drive-in concerts might be the next new thing.
Globe life field the home of the Texas Rangers announced, "The Concert In Your Car" event!There will be four nights from June 4th to 7th of LIVE music, according to Billboard! The Eli Young Band will kick it off and then Whiskey Myers, Pat Green and Josh Abbott Band and Kevin Fowler to close it out. As for how many people can attend, it will be capped at 400 cars that will occupy every other parking spot. The artists will perform on stage with the audio being heard on a designated FM frequency. Or, if you want, I guess you could just roll down your window! There will also be jumbo screens too for those cars in the back!
If you want to do some road tripping and go. It will cost $40 per vehicle, but don't go expecting to run wild. You'll have to stay inside your car and follow the CDC social distancing guidelines. There's no tailgating, grilling, or standing on your truck bed. Oh and one more thing... They won't be selling food either. But you'll be able to bring your own food, and adult beverages, if you're over 21. Don't worry you can leave your car to go to the bathroom.
