Study Says A Beer A Day Could Help Lower Risk Of Stroke And Heart Disease

A long neck ice cold beer never broke my heart, but it could help your heart!

A preliminary study presented at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2016, says that consuming a beer a day may help lower the risk of stroke and heart disease. On the American Heart Association's website it states that researchers found that people who drink a moderate amount of alcohol which is one serving a day for women and two for men tend to have healthier levels of “good” cholesterol than people who don’t drink at all or those who drink more heavily. You can read more about the study HERE.

The American Heart Association also wants you to consume alcohol in moderation if you already drink, but cautions people to not start drinking and consult your doctor on your risks and benefits of consuming alcohol in moderation. Please drink responsibly
