There's nothing like sitting next to the fireplace with a nice glass of whiskey and eating a venison stick! Now your whiskey can taste like... deer?
A distillery in New Hampshire is releasing a new whiskey later this month that tastes like deer, according to Forbes. The distillery has created the whiskey and they added venison as they were aging the whiskey to give it a, quote, "savory complement."
That same distillery is also releasing a brandy in December that's flavored with the corpse flower. If you don't know what that is, it's the worst smelling flowers in the world! They say it adds, quote, "death and decay to the floral notes of the brandy." I'll pass on the corpse flower but I would try the deer whiskey!
You can check out their website at TamworthDistilling.com if you want to find out more about ordering the liquors once they come out. Seems like the perfect holiday gift for that person in your life who loves interesting alcohol and you also secretly kinda hate.
