The 56 ACM Awardswill be broadcast from the Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe on April 18th at 8 p.m. [ET] on CBS and stream live on-demand on Paramount+.
Mickey made history last year as the only Black woman to perform on the show with her performance of "What Are You Gonna Tell Her?" with Keith accompanying her on piano. She says, "As I’ve said before ‘if you can see it, you can be it,’ and it’s such an honor to step onto the ACM stage as the first-ever Black woman to host the show."
This will be Keith's second time hosting the show. He says, “I’m beyond thrilled to be co-hosting with my friend Mickey. I love that finally everyone will get to see her infectious energy and uber-creative spirit in full light.”
