A Mint Condition Rare "Super Mario" Game Sells For $660,000

When I was a kid I used to play Nintendo all the time at my Grandma's watch when she would watch me. Super Mario was among the many games that I would play, and honestly I wish it would have paid off. I mean, I had this version of Super Mario, I was kid so I threw the box away....

An unopened copy of the original "Super Mario Brothers" Nintendo game just sold at auction for $660,000, according to CNN. That amount is the most ever for a video game.

A guy bought it 35 years ago in 1986, put it in his desk, and forgot about it. So it's in mint condition. It's also from the initial release of the game. They know because Nintendo changed the packaging a year later in 1987.
