Is someone cutting onions?
An 8-year-old by the name of Bryson Kleinmann who heard his dog was sick, and he did the only thing he could think of to make sure the puppy got better! That's right, Bryson was going to sell his Pokemon card collection that he had been collecting since he was 4, according to Kare 11. When he sold his collection he was going to help the 4-month old puppy Bruce, who was diagnosed with parvo, which is a potentially deadly viral infection, and treatment for it is pretty pricey.
Bryson's Mom Kimberly took to social media to tell everyone what Bryson was doing and when word spread around the neighborhood, people wanted to help! A GoFundMe was set up with a goal of $800. Bryson began selling his collection on May 4th and since then the GoFundMe has reached over $23,000 with over 800 donors! Neighbors also began donating their Pokémon cards to the cause, and set up their own fundraisers for Bruce.
The news even reached a worker at Pokémon Co. in Seattle, who sent Bryson a box of rare cards to replace the ones he had to sell. More of the story in the video below.
