It's almost award season time for the MLB, and there is one award that was announced earlier today.
Congratulations to Nelson Cruz on winning the Roberto Clemente award. If you don't know what that award is, it's the award for the player who "best exemplifies the game of baseball, sportsmanship, community involvement and the individual's contribution to his team", as voted on by baseball fans and members of the media. Nelson Cruz won the award with the Minnesota Twins, and has become the fourth Twins player to win the award.
