If you're a heavy user of Twitter like I am you know we have always wanted an edit button! You fire off the perfect tweet, don't check it for hours and then go back and see you misspelled or left a word out. Now you’ll be able to edit it thankfully!
Twitter announced last week that they have secretly been working on an edit button for a year now. They are going to test it out with Twitter Blue users which costs $2.99/month to use and apparently there are a lot of things you can do with it but the free Twitter is the way to go! For now they are testing it out to see what works, what doesn’t work, and what’s possible.
Along with the edit button, according to NBC News, Twitter is testing out a feature where you can "unmention" yourself -- basically remove yourself from that thread. The social media giant calls it "a way to protect your peace."
