There's some real awesome perks to living in the wilderness. It's quiet, beautiful and infinitely closer to wildlife. Growing up in the burbs we didn't run into much. We had coyotes in our backyard every night we could hear them howl. One night I was checking the mail and a coyote howled and stormed down the street. So feral animals aren't my favorite thing in the world.
That being said we never had anything close to a cougar. Who prepares for cougar attacks? Hopefully Canadians.
