The Senate on Tuesday voted to make daylight saving time permanent beginning in 2023.
The Sunshine Protection Act, as it is called, was approved by a unanimous voice vote. The bill now heads to the House, which recently held a committee hearing on it, but it still needs to pass it before it arrives on President Biden's desk for his signature.
The White House hasn't revealed whether Biden supports the bill and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also declined to say where she stands on it, but she did say she was closely reviewing it. (Reuters)
But how will it impact Minnesota?
