Kiefer Sutherland Apologizes For Creating 'The Mullet' 35 Yrs Ago

Kiefer Sutherland has apologized for creating “business in the front, party in the back”?

More than three decades ago Sutherland, 18 years old at the time, starred as bad boy vampire biker David in Joel Schumacher’s 1987 vampire classic “The Lost Boys.”

In the film, Sutherland rocked the classic mullet, shorter on top and flowing out back.

The “24” actor said the look was inspired by a certain 1980s rocker at the time and the director of “The Lost Boys”, Joel Schumacher, wanted him to have his hair long and white. “I looked like a wrester! I hated it!” The actor said. “I just thought, ‘That's awful.' And Billy Idol had just come out… and he looked cool.”

This years before another famous artist named Billy (Billy Ray Cyrus) rocked the Mullet.

"The Lost Boys" is a fantastic movie!!
