Hurricane Ian made landfall in Southwestern Florida yesterday afternoon. It's listed as a Category Four, with 150 mile-per-hour winds.
By around midnight last night, more than 2 MILLION people in Florida were without power. In the Fort Myers area, 96% of homes didn't have electricity, and the city was not able to respond to all the emergency calls coming in.
The mayor said people will just have to be patient . . . he added, quote, "You know, we did evacuation orders. They chose not to follow them. This is what comes with it."
