1. "Austin" by Blake Shelton. It was the most-played song on country stations for five weeks when it came out in 2001.

2. "Tim McGraw" by Taylor Swift. She was 16 when she released it in 2006.

3. "Cruise" by Florida Georgia Line. It broke a record in 2012 with 24 weeks at #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

4. "Brand New Man" by Brooks & Dunn. It was their first #1 hit of many, way back in 1991.

5. "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus. Also 1991. It was a big year for new artists.

6. "Blue" by LeAnn Rimes. Her version came out in 1996, when she was 13.
