Can’t sleep? Blame your office chair. A study from the University of South Florida found that 80% of workers today have highly sedentary jobs, and all that sitting every day is messing with our sleep and increasing insomnia symptoms by 37%
Researchers were able to identify three types of sleepers:
- Good sleepers – 57%. These sleepers got good, healthy sleep.
- Catch-up sleepers – 25%. These sleepers relied on naps and weekends to recover from bad sleep.
- Insomnia sleepers – 18%. These individuals experienced multiple sleep problems including difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, and feeling tired during the day.
