How do you even handle this? Call up all the local beekeepers? Yup... that's exactly how you handle this.
There was a truck in Utah hauling hundreds of beehives that swerved off the road and overturned. Thousands of bees were released on the road as 200 beehives flew out of the trailer. Of course many people, including the driver, suffered bee stings and were treated at a local hospital. Beekeepers tried to save as many bees as possible but only managed to save 5% of them. The road had to be partially closed for a few hours while the beekeepers did their work. (KSTU-TV)
