New month tomorrow! Here are four things to look forward to in June...
1. In sports: The NBA Finals start next Thursday, on June 6th. Then the Stanley Cup Finals start on the 8th. In tennis, the French Open runs through June 9th. And golf's 124th U.S. Open is June 13th through the 16th.
2. On TV:
- "Star Wars: The Acolyte" premieres on Disney+ on June 4th
- Part Two of "Bridgerton" Season 3 drops on Netflix on June 13th
- Season 2 of "House of the Dragon" hits HBO on the 16th
- Season 3 of "The Bear" is back on FX on Hulu on June 27th
- The Tony Awards also air on CBS and Paramount+ on the 16th.
3. In theaters:
- "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" is out on the 5th
- "Inside Out 2" will be released on the 14th
- The dark comedy "Kinds of Kindness" arrives the 21st
- The horror movie "A Quiet Place: Day One" hits theaters the 27th
- Kevin Costner's "Horizon: An American Saga" will be released on the 28th.
4. And finally, the holidays:
- The big ones are Father's Day on the 16th, and Juneteenth on the 19th.
- It's Pride Month
- The first official day of summer is the 20th
- National Best Friends Day is June 8th
- Flag Day is on the 14th
- The 19th is National Martini Day
- National Selfie Day is June 21st.
