Starbucks is testing something new in 100 stores across the U.S. and I am EXCITED! They will be trying something called Affogato, a coffee-based dessert. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped or "drowned" with a shot of hot espresso, and it looks HEAVENLY!
Starting today, Starbucks will be trying a Roastery Affogato menu at 10 different Starbucks stores that have Reserve bars, across Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, Maryland, and Boston. (Unfortunately Chicago appears to be the closest one to us.)
Additionally, a different, Roastery-inspired menu will hit 100 stores across Orange County, Calif.
