A firefighter and a pair of girl scouts have proven to be a dog-saving duo. A Fire Department in California posted a video on Facebook last week, showing firefighters rescuing a dog named Jack from a house fire.
They found Jack behind furniture and brought him outside. They then revived Jack using an animal oxygen mask and high-flow oxygen. The owner was extremely grateful, but the Fire Department was also thankful for 2 girl scouts.
In 2015, Girl Scouts Kylie Greene, 14, and Hailey Amos, 14, of Central California South Council Troop No. 376 started selling shirts, eventually raising $2,400 to buy those pet mask kits on all 37 Bakersfield fire engines.
