There's a class parents may want their teen drivers to take. B.R.A.K.E.S. (Be responsible and keep everyone safe) it scheduled to be at the Manheim Auto Auction in Maple Grove August 26th and 27th. It's an intense hands-on course put on by a former National Hot Rod Association champion racer who teaches movie stunt car drivers and he'll teach your teen defensive driving and to stop bad habits before they take root and it's free with a $99 refundable deposit to secure your reservation.
REQUIREMENTS: (Please read before registering your teen)
Please choose only (1) four-hour session when you sign up. (We typically host four sessions for each weekend; Classes offered: 8am-12noon and 1pm-5pm, Saturday and Sunday)
Ages 16-20 (if attending North Carolina classes ONLY) along with a valid permit or driver's license)
Ages 15-19 (along with a valid permit or driver’s license)
At least 30 hours of driving experience behind the wheel
At least 1 parent needs to accompany their teen/teens
Classes are free to all, but we require a $99 refundable deposit to secure your reservation.
You MUST have your teens permit/driver’s license number to complete registration
