Fishing opener is next weekend, but is the ice even out throughout the state? A few more lakes are officially ice free as of the last week, according to the DNR. Lake Minnetonka saw the last of ice on April 20th, while Lake Mille Lacs' ice went out on April 28th, both behind average. Below is what ice out looks like for the state:
