Serenity (8) was devastated to find out her friends house was on fire, and that 2 of the 4 children lost their lives in the fire. She wants to raise money for her friends and their mom so they can move back into their home after she heard that they are moving back. She set up a cookie and lemonade stand at the end of our driveway and worked for 7 hours in 3 days to raise money. Her original goal was $500, then she decided since she was so close after 2 days, to raise it to $1,000. She quickly sped past the $1,000 mark and is currently at $1,800. She said she would like to raise at least $2,000, maybe even $5,000 for the family.
