Taylor Swift's new album,Lover, has a contribution from the Dixie Chicks.
The Texas trio adds harmony vocals to the chorus of "Soon You'll Get Better," a song Swift co-wrote about her mother's battle with cancer. Martie Maguire plays violin on the track, and Natalie Mainesechoes Swift on the lines “Who am I s’posed to talk to? / What am I s’posed to do? / If there’s no you."
In the song, Swift sings, “In doctor’s office lighting, I didn’t tell you I was scared...Desperate people find faith, so now I pray to Jesus, too.”
In an essay for Elle in March, Taylor revealed that her mother's cancer had returned.
