Are you a nervous flyer? These tips could help you book the smoothest ride possible...

A pilot named Jerry Johnson revealed the worst time of the day to fly if you're a nervous traveller. He says, "If you're a nervous flyer, book a morning flight.

The reason, he says, quote, "The heating of the ground later causes bumpier air, and it's much more likely to thunderstorm in the afternoon."

Another pilot says if you want a smoother ride, sit over or near the wing of the plane.

Another tip for travelers, If you always feel cold on a flight sit in the back of the plane. Planes are generally warmer in the back because the air flows from the front to the back. So if you want the freshest air or get hot easily, sit up front.
