Lady A posted a sneak peek of an unreleased ballad after revealing it to an intimate crowd at a secret listening party on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. The beloved trio aimed for an “old-school Lady A” feel on the song.

“We just got a few mixes back on some new music that we’re pretty amped up about,” the trio — made up of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood — wrote in an Instagram caption on Monday (July 17). “This one is called ‘Love You Back.’”

The reel Lady A shared on Instagram, which teased a second part to follow soon, showed attendees of the secret show listening intently while bobbing their heads along to “Love You Back.” Instagram users gushed over the unreleased song, including sister duo Tigirlily Gold (“Y’all are too good!!!!!”), and singer-songwriter and producer Shane McAnally (“I. LOVE. THIS. Cannot wait for this record. Wow.”). Others described “Love You Back” as “electrifying,” “stunning” and “fantastic” as they eagerly awaited a release date.

Country music listeners know Lady A for their career-spanning hits like “Need You Now,” “Bartender,” “Downtown,” “I Run To You,” “Just A Kiss” and other unforgettable singles. Listen to a snippet of one of the latest tracks they have in the works here:
