See, I thought the Northern that I caught two years ago was huge, this fish makes mine look like a minnow!
According to Bring Me The News, a 10-year-old girl from Wisconsin caught a muskie that was as big as her on Minnesota's Lake of the Woods. The 50.5" muskie was landed by Leah Saffert, of Rice Lake, during a recent trip to the Minnesota fishing destination.
Weighing in at 34 pounds, Saffert made the catch on New Year's Eve in Zippel Bay, having spent two nights fishing in the family ice house. There was just enough time for a picture before they released the fish back into the lake.
