In 2017, Apple admitted that they were slowing down certain models of iPhone. They claimed it was to improve battery life.
Apple settled a class action lawsuit for $500 Million. That means each user will probably get $25 depending on how many people make claims.
The affected models are, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus if you owned it before December 2017.
You will need your iPhone's serial number which can be found in settings.
For the record, I never noticed any performance issues with my phone so I don't think I will be making a claim.
