My family and I are planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park this summer. A couple of years ago we went to South Dakota and saw Custer State Park and Badlands National Park where wildlife has a tendency to get really close to your car and you literally interact with the wildlife when you have to stop and wait for the animals to move on.
Some people had a close interaction with this grizzly bear which usually would be in the woods. Fortunately a park ranger saw what was happening and was able to scare it away with some rubber bullets and bean bags.
What an incredible memory! And reminiscent of the amazing John Candy film The Great Outdoors!
