I know a ton of people who had one of these Star Wars X Wing Fighters as a kid. I never had one but I got to play with some.
Probably a ton of them didn't get saved...or at least saved in good condition. If you have one that still looks good, it's probably worth a lot of money, especially if you still have the original box.
The restorer painstakingly disassembles the toy, cleans it, bathes it in a solution to remove the yellowing of the plastic, installs a new LED light, performs some maintenance on the motor and applies some new paint. I have no idea how you could get new decals.
