Man, if I were to lie down and take a nap right now, I might be out for hours. This was a fun weekend with St. Patrick's Day, some kids stuff and some exploration a few hours from home.
One of the reasons I don't like to nap, especially on weekends is because I have no control unless there's something I have to do. I'll max it out to at least a couple of hours.
But according to experts, the perfect nap is way less than that. In fact I need to cut it down to 30 minutes or less. It's got everything to do with the stages of sleep.
This article explains the exact range of nap sleep you should get and what happens if you stray from these parameters.
Depending on when you are reading this, it might be too late in the day to take a nap.
