I give these officers credit for taking a chance and being concerned for the welfare of someone they didn't even know when they heard the cries for help.
It takes a few seconds to be able to hear the goat but it really does sounds like someone yelling for help, especially at a distance.
The goat really was sort of crying for help. He had to be separated from his buddy and that doesn't seem like very much fun. So these officers got some more steps in on this particular day.
No charges for goat emotional distress will be filed against the farmer.
