What Dads Actually Want For Father's Day 2020

Fathers Day

Father’s Day is THIS Sunday and while it certainly won’t look like your typical Father’s Day, thanks to the coronavirus, that doesn’t mean you should skip out on honoring your dad on the one day of the year just for him!

A new poll from RetailMeNot finds that almost 69% of people are still planning on buying something for their dad even with COVID-19 limitations with the average plan to spend about $89.

Here are some of the gifts RetailMeNot say dads ACTUALLY want instead of socks:

  • Gift cards
  • Dinner at a restaurant of their choosing
  • New clothes
  • Alcohol
  • A dinner they don't have to help cook/clean

Obviously get what you think your dad will actually like, but if you're stumped then you can always go with a gift card to Lowe's or Home Depot because what dad doesn't love those stores??
