What The? The Most Confusing Movies Of All Time...

We watched "Tenet" last weekend. I didn't fully get it. It's one of those movies I need to watch, watch again and secretly give it one more look before I go to a discussion group to have it explained to me.

That's how confusing it was. I would've put it at #1 on this list.

A recent survey looked through the Google search volume of "ending explained" for IMDB's top movie list and 2010's Inception took the top spot with almost two million search results.

In second place was Tenet (2020), another Christopher Nolan film that left viewers puzzling away, with 1.9 million searches, which was then followed up with Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island with 1.6 million searches.

Below are the top ten most confusing movies so be ready to need Google as soon as you finish them:

  1. Inception(2010)
  2. Tenet(2020)
  3. Shutter Island(2010)
  4. The Shining(1980)
  5. I'm Thinking Of Ending Things(2020)
  6. Donnie Darko(2001)
  7. Interstellar(2014)
  8. Nocturnal Animals(2016)
  9. No Country For Old Men(2007)
  10. Arrival(2017)
