New Study Says Couples Need To Have This In Common To Be Happy

What’s the secret to happiness in a relationship? Turns out it's the ability to make important decisions and have your opinion heard.

A new study, conducted by the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg examined 181 different couples who lived together for at least one month, and had been together for an average of eight years. The main takeaway was that the happiest couples were those in which "both partners reported a high sense of personal power."

Essentially that means that each partner felt equal in the ability to make decisions in the relationship and that they were heard by their partner.
