Are you sitting on your butt all day because of your job? Many desk jobs will have you sitting for about 8 to 10 hours a day. You might be wondering how you can offset all that sitting and how long you have to work out.

According to a mega-analysis of 9 studies, 30-to-40 minutes of "moderate to vigorous activity" was enough to keep you from gaining weight. That of course is assuming you're eating healthy too.

The study also found that "any exercise, even just standing up" occasionally will help, but the best results (of course) come when you work up a sweat with activities like "cycling, brisk walking" and even "gardening!"

So go & get your workout on!
