School: Students Who Do This The Old Fashioned Way Have A Higher GPA

Here’s a nod to taking notes the old-fashioned way… 

study found that students who handwrite notes have a higher GPA than students who take their notes digitally – on a tablet or laptop.

While using a keyboard to take notes was more popular than taking notes by hand (34% vs. 30%), those who took notes by hand had a median GPA of 3.2 compared to the overall average of 2.9.
