The Highest-Grossing Comedies of All Time in the U.S.

The highest-grossing comedy of all time is last year's "Minions: The Rise of Gru". A movie website called The Numbers put together a list of the 100 highest-grossing comedies at the domestic box office.

Here's the Top10:

 

1.  "Minions: The Rise of Gru" (2022): $369.7 million  (It's also #1 at the worldwide box office with $940.4 million.)

2.  "Home Alone" (1990): $285.8 million

3.  "Meet the Fockers" (2004): $279.2 million

4.  "The Hangover" (2009): $277.3 million

5.  "The Hangover Part 2" (2011): $254.5 million

6.  "Bruce Almighty" (2003): $242.7 million

7.  "Ghostbusters" (1984): $242.6 million

8.  "Beverly Hills Cop" (1984): $234.8 million

9.  "Mrs. Doubtfire" (1993): $219.2 million

10.  "Ted" (2012): $218.7 million
