Planet Fitness Offering Teens Free Workouts All Summer

School will be out in just a few weeks, which means some kids will be sitting around complaining about not having anything to do. Planet Fitness is here to help them avoid boredom and stay active by bringing back their High School Summer Pass program.

The gym is once again giving teens a free summer pass to workout all summer long. By pre-registering, 14- to 19-year-olds will be able to exercise anytime they want from May 15th to August 31st at participating Planet Fitness locations. Here’s how it works:

  • Teenagers younger than 18 will need a parent to sign a waiver in the pre-registration process, which can be done electronically or in person.
  • Once they’re signed up, teens can work out alone, but they’ll only have access to the specific location you choose.
  • After registering, download the Planet Fitness app to get access to the digital club pass they’ll need to scan to get in the gym.
  • Teens are allowed to go anytime the gym is open and they can also go to any free fitness classes available.

If you don’t have a Planet Fitness close to you, look into other gyms near you. Planet Fitness isn’t the only one that offers a teen summer program, so it’s worth checking around to find out what options are available.
