Billboard released a list of the artists who have spent the most weeks at number-one on its Top Country Albums chart and it doesn't surprise many that Garth Brooks is at the top with 173 weeks. What is unexpected is who follows him.
Morgan Wallen is at number-two, having already spent 151 weeks at number-one on the chart. Alabama comes in third with 125 weeks at the top, with Willie Nelson boasting 107 weeks and Taylor Swift logging 101 weeks.
That's not bad considering Garth has released 17 albums since his 1989 debut, and Morgan has dropped three since his first album in 2018.
