Carrie Underwood will be the new judge on "American Idol" this season, after Katy Perry left and fans everywhere are eager to see how she'll do!
Even Simon Cowell had some words of encouragement for her. He said, "Carrie [and I], we go back a long way. I remember her audition like it was yesterday. She was so good, she's such a sweet person."
Regarding the advice he would give her, this is what he had to say: "You gotta just say how you feel. It’s not that difficult doing this job, I promise you. We all feel the same things, and we don't agree, thank God. Otherwise, life would be boring."
Something tells me she's going to be a little bit kinder than Simon was :)
