A guy in Florida is bringing attention to a scam involving the stimulus relief checks that will be soon distributed.
Thomas Andrews posted on Facebook a photo of a check he received along with caption:
This is absolutely sickening.
Just got this in the mail today.
It's a car dealership faking a Coronavirus stimulus relief check to trick people to go to their tent at this "temporary relief site" and be told the check is fake and they're just selling cars.
Many people, especially the elderly, won't read/understand this and will be driving there thinking they will be getting relief money only to be harassed by a car salesman.
