A woman has gone viral for accidentally causing a huge debate over a TikTok video. The video in question is posted below. Basically, she sees a chair in Target, so she decides to decorate around it to make it look more appealing. Check it out below.
What she thought was a cute video, pissed a lot of people off. Many of the comments ripped her for not realizing that this was going to affect the people who work at Target. However, a lot of people did come to her defense, saying it was not that big of a deal.
She eventually responded to the comments with Buzzfeed saying:
In my mind, it was completely harmless, considering all of the items I used were in the same area that I was decorating. I didn't feel like I was creating any extra work for employees. I would understand if I was grabbing things from different departments and making a mess, but I didn't.
I've been getting DMs saying how horrible of a person I am and tearing my character down, which I don't think is fair. I think now more than ever, we need to be more conscious of how we speak to one another and to give people the benefit of the doubt.
The next day, Kelsey went back to the store to see if her display was still there and most of it was, but she agreed that putting the rug down wasn't great, so she put it back. Her update video is below.
