Despite being nominated for "Album of the Year" at this year's CMA Awards, Morgan Wallen will NOT be allowed on the red carpet or on stage.
A spokesperson told the "L.A. Times":
"The decision was the man [is] not allowed, but the music and the people who were part of it [are]. This is the first time in CMA history, to my knowledge, anyone has ever been disqualified for conduct. Honoring him as an individual this year is not right, and he won't be allowed on the red carpet, on our stage, or be celebrated in any way."
Essentially, the CMAs didn't want to cheat others in the creative process, like songwriters, musicians, and producers out of being able to be nominated or being able to win. But Morgan himself will not be "celebrated." Morgan has not yet publicly responded to the announcement.
