I ended a great vacation week with a trip to Rhode Island with my 3 oldest friends in the WORLD! Annie, Laura and I all live in Minnesota, so we hopped a flight together (and naturally started our vacation with drinks at the airport!)

Rachel lives in New York, so we picked her up in Providence and headed to Newport for the weekend! We had a few hours to kill before we could check into where we were staying, so we grabbed lunch in Downtown Newport right on the water!

Once we got checked in, we immediately headed to the beach to catch up and enjoy a beach happy hour!
Saturday was a full beach day! It was gorgeous and we just spent some time hanging by the beach. Rachel's sister even came down from Boston to join us for a day! After beaching it, we hit some spots in Downtown Newport and it was like no time had passed at all. We kept trying to get a picture of the 5 of us, which a drunk woman kept volunteering to take. Unfortunately, these were the best we got because like I said, she wasn't super sober....

Sunday we did something called The Cliff Walk. It's a few mile walk along the water in Newport. If you ever make it to Newport, you HAVE to do the Cliff Walk!

Sunday afternoon we headed to the beach again, although Sunday was a little chillier, so this was my outfit for most of the afternoon.
We stopped for some seafood before Claire headed out for the night at a place right off the water called Flo's Clam Shack. If seafood is your thing, check out Flo's.
Sunday night was our last night in Newport so we decided to head into town to get some mudslides together. We also managed to capture a picture of the most incredible sunset.

It was our first trip together (the 4 of us) since we were 16! We don't have our next trip planned together quite yet, but we're definitely not waiting another 13 years!
