I've had a beard for as long as I can remember. If I shave my beard, I legitimately look like I'm 12 years old. It’s very rare for me to shave my beard on purpose, but that might change after reading this new study!
According Daily Mail, there was a new study done in Switzerland and it states that men's beards are more likely to be filled with germs and bacteria than dog fur.
The researchers of the study sampled men's beards and some dogs' fur, and they found that 100% of the men had high microbial counts in their facial hair versus about three-quarters of the dogs.
The study also said that almost half of the men had bacteria in their beards that could make someone sick. ICK.
So you fellas you might want to go scrub that beard now and ladies you might want to think twice before making out with a dude with a beard!
