I can't tell you how many times I have watched the movie 'The Sandlot.' What I can tell you is that I use to own it on VHS, and I watched it so many times that the VHS just broke one day. Now in the age of DVD and Blu-Ray, I own it on both versions. To me, 'The Sandlot' is the best movie and baseball movie ever made! There's so many memorable quotes from it, and I can recite the entire movie line by line!
The other day Patrick Renna, who is the actor that plays Ham Porter returned to the iconic field where 'The Sandlot' was filmed.
Hand up, I honestly did not know that the movie was filmed at a baseball field in Utah of all places. Another thing, if you look at the photo Patrick Renna posted his son is with him and he's doing the same exact point that his Dad did in the movie! How awesome is that? I would be all for a reunion with the original cast, but I want a documentary like ESPN 30 For 30 style.
