Ummm.. uhhh.. I don't think I agree with this list. I mean how does MSP International Airport go from being named Best Airport in North America last year to being one of the 25 Worst Airports in America. Our airport has top-notch restaurants, one-of-a-kind shops, colorful works of art, a 1.4 mile walking path, kid-friendly amenities, on-site pampering, hi-tech fun, special events, a public piano, and light rail access. I can think of plenty airports that should be on this list! So how did The Points Guy put MSP on the worst airport list?
According to Thrillist, to figure it out, they looked at the 50 busiest airports in the country and considered a broad range of elements ranging from sustainability efforts to the connection to their local communities. Then, The Points Guy factored in data from traffic analytics experts to determine how long it takes to get their from the city itself, and surveyed the US Department of Transportation database to see the on-time flight departure and arrival stats, which gave them the list below.
