Alright, I'll be the one to say it. Popeyes is 100% better than KFC, there I said it! There's nothing like getting a 2-piece chicken with that bold Louisiana flavor, red beans and rice, and mashed potatoes and gravy. One of the things missing from Popeyes menu has always been a chicken sandwich and I wish they had one! Well, they're finally getting one!
The first ever, yes you read that right, first ever Popeyes’ Cajun spice blend Chicken Sandwich is coming to their menus. The sandwich includes a delicious buttermilk-battered and hand-breaded white meat chicken filet, served on a buttery, toasted brioche bun with two barrel-cured pickles, and guests’ choice of classic mayo or spicy Cajun spread, according to Delish.
There are 10 locations in the Twin Cities, head to the nearest Popeyes when the Chicken Sandwich releases nationwide on August 12.
