Little League baseball is the best kind of baseball to watch! If you watched the Minnesota vs Iowa game earlier today, you were on the edge of your seat in that last inning just like I was. Minnesota was down 5-1 at one point during the game and battled back!
In the 6th inning, Minnesota would eventually tie the game at 5-5. That's when a kid by the name of Jameson Kuznia who likes to hit dingers, came up to bat with runners on the corners. There's the pitch, he swings, it's a deep fly ball, this one has a chaaaaance.... GONE! He hit a 3-run homer to give Minnesota the 8-5 lead. What a home run!
The Coon Rapids-Andover Crall held on to win 8-6 and are heading to Williamsport to represent the Midwest in the Little League World Series, which begins August 15! They'll play the winner of the Great Lakes championship game.
